Overall an average card with a few good & a few weak races all of which make multiple race wagers very tough to construct.
Race 1) The picks:
1-8-3-4 Confidence level:
Average
#1 Mighty Ego 3-1 won his lone turf try to date & if he builds on
that here while dropping in w/ claimers for the 1st time he will be
tough.
#8 New York Holiday 4-1 has the class & efforts that put him there
if he is ready to go off a break for a barn that does well w/ similar, threat.
#3 Brad’s My Hero 5-1 ships in off a break w/ efforts that put him
in this race for a solid barn so he could a player in here if he is ready.
Other contenders: #4 Hoppsey 5-1
Race 2) The picks: 6-3-1/1a-7
Confidence level: Good
#6 Biloxi 1-1 may have needed his debut last out yet he still ran
an effort that makes him tough here so he looks tough to deny.
#3 Renewed Hope 7/2 is very similar to the choice here so he too
looks like a possibility in this race but this one needs to improve more while
rising in class from the maiden ranks so demand value.
#1/1a Hushion Entry 5-1 both have all the tools to hit the ground
running for a barn that does well w/ similar, contenders.
Other contenders: #7 Tough Cookie T 6-1
Race 3) The picks: 4-1/1a-8-2
Confidence level: Below average
#4 Tsavorite 4-1 probably needed his last as he came off a rest so
he may improve as he cuts back for a shrewd outfit, maybe.
#1/1a Jacobson entry 4-1 both bring different things to the table
in here & either one could threaten in here.
#8 Idaho Joe 5-1 drops in class for this & that might help him
show more & be involved here.

Race 4) The picks: 3-7-5-1/1a
Confidence level: Above average
#3 Fenway Faithful 2-1 has the class & efforts that put him there
if he is ready off a break for a barn that does well w/ similar, threat.
#7 Wicked Climb 9/2 tossed a career race last out & anything like
that makes him tough here but he may bounce so demand a fair price.
#5 May Day Now 5-1 makes his 2nd off a break as he
rises off the claim for a barn that has shown the ability to win w/ similar &
this horse has shown enough to play w/ this kind, a possibility.
Other contenders: #1/1a Jacobson entry 5-1
Race 5) The picks: 5-8-7-2
Confidence level: Weak
#5 Z Bug 5-1 may have needed his debut last out & now he drops in
class so he could show more here, especially w/ a better break, maybe.
#8 It’s a Whopper 5-1 moves turf to dirt here for a sneaky barn
that may have him sitting on a career try today but even that may not get him
more than a share.
#7 Last Mistake 5-1 has races that put him right there if he is
ready off a break for a barn that can win w/ similar, threat.

Race 6) The picks: 7-6-8-4
Confidence level: Average
#7 Delightful Vicky 3-1 may have needed her debut last out yet she
still ran an effort that makes her tough here.
#6 Sounds Familiar 3-1 improved a bit in her 2nd career
start last out & if she does so again here she will be in the mix again today.
#8 Heavenly Pursuit 5-1 has a turf pedigree & could improve w/ the
move to the grass for a barn that knows how to win on the green.

Race 7) The picks: 1/1a-5-2-9
Confidence level: Below average
#1/1a Arroyo entry 4-1 both bring different things to the table in
here & either one could get the job done.
#5 Always On The Move 4-1 drops to a career low level off a very
long break which is not a good sign but he might have enough ability to win this
still, odds call.
#2 Prince Of Iron 5-1 returns to his proper level & a better trip
here which may help him show a bit more in this spot.

Race 8) The picks: 4-8-3-1/1a
Confidence level: Above average
#4 Lemon Shore 3-1 probably needed his latest as he came off a
rest so he may improve for a barn that does very well w/ similar.
#8 Aly’s Wheat 4-1 has races that put him right there if he is
ready off a break for a barn that can win w/ similar, threat.
#3 Medjool 5-1 tossed a career race last out & anything like that
makes him tough here but he may bounce so demand a fair price.
Other contenders: #1/1a Barrera entry 5-1
Race 9) The picks: 6-2-4-5
Confidence level: Good
#6 Ibboyee 6/5 ships in to stretch back out for his 3rd
off a break & he might be sitting on a nice effort here, especially if he gets
some help on the front end, call.
#2 D’Funnybone 7/5 is similar to the choice but this one might get
some heavy pressure on the lead so he might be a bit spent as he stretches out
here, odds call.
#4 Afleet Again 5-1 has efforts that put him on the fringes if he
is set off a break, a possibility, but a minor award seems more likely than a
win.

Race 10) The picks: 8-5-7-1
Confidence level: Below average
#8 Woodrunner 4-1 has races that put him right there if he is
ready off a break for a barn that can win w/ similar, maybe.
#5 Fortissi More 4-1 ships in for a new barn that can win w/
similar so this one might be in the mix here, odds call.
#7 Silenced 5-1 loses the shades as he changes barns & moves back
to the turf on the ship in so he might be a possibility if he can pick up where
he left off.
